🚔💙 June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💙🚔

The strongest thing a man can do isn't carry every burden alone—it's knowing when to ask for help.

Men often face pressure to stay silent, "tough it out," or handle problems on their own. But mental health is just as important as physical health, and reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Whether you're a father, son, brother, husband, friend, first responder, veteran, or neighbor—your life matters, your struggles matter, and your mental health matters.

Check in on the men in your life. A simple conversation can make a bigger difference than you realize.

💙 It's okay to not be okay.💙 It's okay to ask for help.💙 You are not alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a trusted friend, family member, mental health professional, or crisis resource.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a time to honor the heroes who never made it home, the families who carry their memory, and the freedoms their sacrifice protects every day. 🇺🇸

As you spend time with family and friends today, we ask that you take a moment to reflect on those who paid the ultimate price for our nation.

From all of us at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, thank you to our fallen heroes. We will never forget your sacrifice.

Please celebrate safely, drive responsibly, and look out for one another this holiday weekend. 🚔

NATIONAL POLICE WEEK

This week, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes the brave men and women of law enforcement who put on the badge each day with honor, courage, and commitment to serving others.

We remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and honor those who continue to stand the line protecting our communities, often without recognition and always without hesitation.

To every deputy — thank you for your dedication, sacrifice, and service to the people of Anderson County and across this nation.

Behind every badge is a person willing to run toward danger so others can sleep safely at night.

Please join us in showing appreciation for all law enforcement officers this National Police Week. 💙🖤

‼️ TRAFFIC TIP TUESDAY ‼️

Some of y’all treat a missed exit like Rainbow Road on Mario Kart.

Sudden lane changes.
No turn signal.
Pure fear in the eyes.
Absolutely willing to risk it all for a Taco Bell run.

Friendly reminder:
You are driving a 4,000-pound vehicle…
not throwing a red shell at destiny.

Miss the exit.
Not your life.

🚨 SCHOOL BUS SAFETY REMINDER 🚨

While patrolling Andersonville Highway today, Deputy Jackson observed multiple vehicles failing to stop for a school bus displaying its stop sign. One vehicle was stopped and corrective action was taken.

The safety of our children is a top priority for the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. Every time a school bus stops, lives are stepping on and off that bus — and a few seconds of impatience behind the wheel is never worth the risk.

Please use the diagram below as a reminder of when you must stop and when to use caution around school buses. 🚌⚠️

📍 Two-lane roadway: ALL traffic must stop.
📍 Multi-lane roadway with a shared turn lane: ALL traffic must stop.
📍 Divided highway with a physical barrier/median: Only traffic traveling behind the bus must stop.

Those flashing lights and stop signs are there for a reason. Put the phone down, slow down, and pay attention.

Our deputies will continue to monitor school bus routes throughout Anderson County to help keep students safe. 🚔
