🎉 Today’s Out of School Bash was fantastic! The Clinton Police Department thanks everyone who joined us at the Sampson Center.

It was wonderful to see families, students, and friends enjoying food, drinks, and water activities. Events like this emphasize the importance of community connections.

We appreciate those who helped make today special and everyone who spent part of their afternoon with us. Wishing all students a safe, fun, and joyful summer! ☀️💦

First Responders Sunday at Clinton Community Church was truly uplifting. We are thankful for the invitation to join the church services and sincerely value all the prayers and support for the safety of our officers and first responders. Thank you for standing with those who serve and protect our community every day.

We were glad to attend the Hospital Touch-a-Truck at Sampson Regional Medical Center yesterday. The weather was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and we had a great time at this fun community event.

The Clinton Police Department joins agencies nationwide in recognizing National Police Week.

National Police Week honors the courage, service, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We also remember and support the families, loved ones, and departments left behind.

To the men and women of law enforcement who continue to serve with dedication, professionalism, and courage each day—thank you.

We will never forget those who gave all.

The Clinton Police Department is taking applications for the 2026 Clinton Police Summer Camp. The camp will take place July 27, 2026 through July 31, 2026.

Requirements:

- ages for the camp are 9-12 years old
- they must live within 5 miles of the Clinton City Limits
- have not attended the camp before.

On these 5 days the kids will get to go fishing, skating, swimming, bowling, watch a movie, learn valuable lessons from different officers, and enjoy lunch.

Again, spots are very limited so they are on a first come first serve basis. If you have a child that would not normally get to enjoy these activities, please email Belinda Parker at [email protected] or pick up an application at the Clinton Police Department, 222 Lisbon Street, Clinton NC 28329.

We are grateful for your service, your sacrifice, and the critical work you do behind the scenes—often without recognition, but never without impact.

The Clinton Police Department would like to thank the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office/ Sheriff Jimmy Thornton for the invitation and Sign and Awning Systems, Inc. of Dunn for their generosity in providing a meal for first responders on April 6.

We appreciate the support shown to law enforcement, fire personnel, and all first responders who serve Sampson County each day. Thank you to Jason Honeycutt, Brandon Johnson, and everyone involved for this thoughtful act of kindness.
