📣TOMORROW is the deadline for the Resource Conservation Workshop applications!! Please share and let us know if you have any questions!

🚨Application deadline has been extended to Friday April 10th!

📣Applications are NOW open for the Resource Conservation Workshop, which will be held at NC State University June 14-19, 2026.

🌱💦The Resource Conservation Workshop is a weeklong intensive study and hands on conservation workshop. This workshop is a deep-dive into the world of conservation and agriculture, where you will explore natural resources, tackle real-world environmental challenges, and get hands-on with soil and water, forestry, wildlife, and so much more! This isn't just sitting in a classroom; think field studies, outdoor adventures, and behind-the-scenes tours of conservation hotspots. Evening sessions help students navigate college and career choices in conservation, and scholarships are also up for grabs! Students stay on campus at NC State in dormitories and attend workshop sessions throughout the week at various locations.

📝Students can apply through their local soil and water conservation district. If you are a high school student (optimal for rising juniors and seniors for the 2026/2027 school year) in Sampson County that would be interested in this workshop, you can contact our office at (910)592-7963 ext. 3 or email [email protected] to apply. Applications are due by Friday, April 10th.
