The Clinton City Council will hold a work session to discuss the City's building project, insurance funds, and to discuss t@ options available moving forward.

This meeting is open to the public. We encourage residents to attend, listen to the discussion, and share their thoughts and ideas about the future of this project.

REMINDER - July 28th deadline.

Interested in serving your community?

The filing period for City of Clinton elected offices is July 14, 2026, through July 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The withdrawal deadline is Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM.

At the November 3, 2026 General Election, voters will elect:

Mayor – 2-year term

Two Council Members – 4-year terms

Affidavits of Candidacy may be filed with the City Clerk at Clinton City Hall during the filing period, no later than 5:00 PM on July 28, 2026.

Update. Water is back on. We apologize for the short notice, but this was an unexpected water leak—not a planned event. Unfortunately, emergencies do not always come with advance notice.

Our crews worked as hard and as quickly as possible to locate and repair the leak, and we had no way of knowing exactly how long the repair would take. We are thankful they were able to get the water back on as quickly as they did.

We understand that being without water was an inconvenience, but we ask for patience and understanding when unexpected situations like this occur.

Water will be temporarily shut off this morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. while crews repair a water leak.
