Make all your summer reading count! If you read 12 books anytime between June 1 and Sept. 4, including books read for WPLS' Summer Reading Program, you're eligible to enter Second Lady Usha Vance's Summer Reading Challenge!

For more information or to submit your summer reading, go to www.wh.gov/read! Logs are also available for pick up at your local WPLS library!

We can hardly believe this year's Summer Reading Challenge is over! This year, 915 readers joined the challenge reading a combined 674,301 minutes. Of those readers, 359 met the challenge goal for their age group!

We also awarded grand prize winners across the system in children, tween/teen, and adult age groups.

Over the course of the months of May and June, readers across western Oklahoma joined forces to help us meet our community reading goal of 400,000 minutes. We're proud to announce we SURPASSED that goal by reading a combined 674,301 minutes!

That's over 11,238 hours of reading or nearly 468 days of nonstop books!

Thank you to everyone who joined this year's challenge!

We celebrated the end of this year's Summer Reading Challenge with a splash! Congratulations to everyone who completed their summer reading goal and secured their invite to our End of Summer Party. We had so much fun celebrating you!
