Through the efforts of Don Potter, a geology professor at Hamilton College, and a group of like-minded colleagues and local citizens, Clinton's ABC program began in 1972. A large number of dedicated members of the community pledged $100 to establish the first program in New York State at Clinton High School. There are currently twenty-two community school programs throughout the country, with two in New York State.

So many of Tega’s Clinton ABC brothers came back to celebrate his graduation. He has been stellar through his 4 years in Clinton in the classroom, on the playing fields, in the house, and beyond. The sky is the limit. Congratulations, Tega!

What a great senior season for Tega and his Clinton Comet teammates. They made it to the finals of their section, Tega and his teammate Andre Jackson (a buddy to many an ABC scholar through the years) both received All Tournament Team honors, and Tega crossed the 1000 point in his varsity career threshold this season. Congrats, Tega!!

Tega Igho '24 was selected as this spring's winner of the Frank Santoli Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by Mrs. Genevieve Santoli and awarded by the Positivity Project student group.
In his nomination, Mrs. Snizek wrote: "Tega Igho lives his daily life being kind to others. He embodies so many of the Positivity Project Character Strengths but I believe his strongest assets are: Integrity, Kindness, Purpose, Humility, and Perseverance. He believes in giving back to his local community both in Clinton and his hometown. Tega has been active in projects that include feeding the homeless, cleaning public parks, working for food banks, tutoring, and helping teach basketball to younger students. Community service is just part of his being and he does this humbly and with little fanfare. Tega is altruistic by nature and a positive role model for other students. We are lucky to have him here at Clinton High School."
