The Spring referral window for Gifted and Talented Program Testing at Clinton Public Schools is open now through April 21, 2026.

Any stakeholder in the student's life may refer them for GT testing. Students currently served in GT do not need to be referred again.

Students in grades PK-6 who qualify for gifted and talented are served through pull-out classes with our GT teachers, Mrs. Stephens or Mrs. Gaunt. The pull-out classes are focused on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics project-based learning, as well as student leadership. Students in grades 7-12 are served through a variety of visual and performing arts opportunities, AP, Honors, and concurrent classes, along with leadership opportunities through a variety of organizations and clubs. These are just a few examples of the many ways we serve our GT students at Clinton Public Schools.

Complete pre-enrollment information

To enroll, your child must be 4 years old by September 1.

Please bring:
✔️ Birth Certificate
✔️ Shot Record
✔️ Proof of Clinton address

Please enter through the south doors of the new building on Court Avenue.

We want to see you at Nance Elementary on March 25! Enrollment for incoming Pre-K will be from 4:30-6:00pm. Visit the classroom, meet our teachers, ask questions, and complete pre-enrollment information. Don’t forget to bring your student’s birth certificate, shot record, and proof of a Clinton address, like a utility bill. See you then!
