There are so many amazing people working for the great City of Clinton. Reggie Crump works so hard for Clinton Parks and Recreation and has done so much for our department over the years. We are so happy that all of his hard work was recognized last week as he was named Employee of the Year! Help us congratulate Reggie!

This should be fun!!! Don't forget that you can drop your candy off at the Wood Center to vote for either Clinton Police Department or Clinton Fire Department!

The battle between the Clinton Police Department and Clinton Fire Department is heating up, and time is running out to pick your side!

Who's going to collect the most candy for HOOT? And more importantly, WHO'S GETTING DUNKED?!

Remember, the department that collects the LEAST amount of candy will take a dip in the dunk tank at Haunting of Olde Towne!

🔥 TEAM FIRE: Drop off candy at any Clinton fire station.
🚔 TEAM POLICE: Drop off candy at the Clinton Police Department.
📅 FINAL DEADLINE: THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23!

All candy must be new and in unopened packaging.

It's the final showdown! Grab a bag (or five!), support your favorite department, and help us make HOOT a sweet success!

This past Friday, our intern Myah took our Living Young participants on a trip around the world! From Lotería Bingo in Mexico 🇲🇽 and Origami in Japan 🇯🇵 to Brazilian dancing 🇧🇷 and Jamaican trivia 🇯🇲, we had a great time exploring different cultures through recreation!

A huge shoutout to Myah for putting together such a fun and engaging experience! 💚

Have you ever raced a sailboat? A Raingutter Regatta is a fun, hands-on activity where participants race miniature sailboats through water-filled gutters by blowing into their sails to move their boats toward the finish line!

Our Therapeutic Recreation Department had a wonderful time at Disability Friendly Day at the Mississippi State Fair!

With an incredible turnout and so many smiling faces, it was a great opportunity to connect with families, share information about our Abilities Program, and celebrate the importance of inclusive recreational opportunities for individuals of all abilities.

We love being part of events that bring people together and remind us that recreation is for EVERYONE!

Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of celebrating all of our Living Young participants who had birthdays during July, August, and September! 🥳 We enjoyed cake, ice cream, plenty of laughs, and most importantly, the opportunity to celebrate each of them and another year of life! 💜

A special thank you to Ms. Teresa Weems with Weems Agency, LLC for sponsoring our Birthday Social and helping make the celebration so special! We would also like to thank Mrs. Brenda K. Levi with It's What I Do for our beautiful birthday sign that made the perfect addition to our celebration!
