Attention - Texas Township Residents

We will start oiling and chipping our roads tomorrow morning, August 25, 2026.

We will start at Bearsdale Road and East Road.

From there, Rudgeview Subdivision, Hilltop Road (subdivision), and Nancy Lane.

Thank you for your patience while our crew works on the roads.

Update: Road is open

We have closed Gash Bridge Road due to water over the road at and around the bridge. Please avoid this area.
Please be careful on Iron Bridge Road near the bridge. We anticipate water over the road either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Water over the road at the corner of Seven Hills Road and Gash Bridge Road. The road is open at this time, so please be careful crossing. We are monitoring the water level on the road and will close the road if necessary.

THE ROAD HAS BEEN REPAIRED AND IS NOW OPEN.

The Texas Township Road Commissioner has implemented a temporary closure of Little Galilee Road between Bearsdale and Bobcat Road, anticipated to last at least one month, to undertake essential repairs.
