Here's the thing, not everyone is aware that as a patient you have rights! Patients right to choose is vastly important in healthcare but also in who you choose as your ambulance provider. As a member and non-member you have a right to choose - a scenario where this matters is if you find yourself in a rural/local facility and you are needing to be transferred to a major metro facility you can ask for SEMS! Let your care team know and they can call us, 24/7 - 365 days a year! We will be there just like we always have since 1965! REMINDER: In an emergency always call 911!

Our memberships are non-transferable, meaning if you find yourself in the back of another ambulance service your SEMS membership will not cover the potential out of pocket costs associated with that service.

🎒📚 BACK-TO-SCHOOL SAFETY TIPS FROM SINOR EMS 🚑

As a new school year begins, Sinor EMS wants to help keep our students, families, and communities safe! Here are a few simple reminders to start the year off right:

🚸 Slow Down in School Zones
Watch for flashing lights, crossing guards, children, and school buses. Put the phone down and stay alert!

🚌 Be Bus-Smart
Stop when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended. Never pass a stopped school bus.

🚶 Cross Safely
Use crosswalks whenever possible and look left, right, and left again before crossing the street.

🎒 Pack Smart
Choose a backpack that fits properly and avoid overloading it. A heavy backpack can contribute to back, neck, and shoulder strain.

💧 Stay Hydrated
Keep water handy throughout the school day, especially during outdoor activities and sports.

🍎 Don't Share Food
Sharing snacks and food at school can lead to serious allergic reactions. Children should avoid sharing food, drinks, or utensils and should always follow their school's allergy safety guidelines.

🏃 Play It Safe
Encourage children to follow playground rules and use equipment appropriately. Report unsafe equipment to school staff.

🚨 Listen During Emergencies
If an emergency occurs at school, stay calm and listen carefully to teachers, staff, and emergency responders. Follow instructions quickly and do not panic. Teachers and staff are trained to help keep students safe.

🚑 Know When to Call 911
Teach children how and when to call 911 and make sure they know their full name, address, and how to describe an emergency.

It was an honor to spend the morning with some of the Veterans from the Clinton Veterans Home! Clinton, OK you accomplished raising enough funds to cover a meal for every Veteran and surpassed their need for daily necessities and for that we say THANK YOU! We teamed up with Route 66 Cafe, Clinton Fire and Clinton Police to show our appreciation and support our Veterans with an es**rt and conversation over breakfast. To our Veterans there will never be enough that can be done to show our appreciation for you, we are forever indebted to your sacrifice so that we may be free. From all of us here at Sinor EMS, THANK YOU!

Reminder! Tomorrow July 22 is the Clinton Veterans Home parade and breakfast at Route 66 Cafe! It is not too late to make a donation from the list on the flyer and or sponsor a veterans meal for $20. We hope to see you there!

This July, let's come together to give back to the veterans who have given so much for our country.
Join the Clinton Veterans Home in their Christmas in July Veterans Charity Drive by helping in one (or all!) of these meaningful ways:

🍽️ Sponsor a Veteran's Breakfast for just $20 at Route 66 Cafe.

🧴 Donate essential toiletries now through July 22. Items needed include body wash, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, deodorant, lotion, mouthwash, denture care products, and nail care items.

📍 Drop off donations at Sinor EMS Headquarters (1101 Frisco Ave., Clinton, OK).

🤝 Join us for breakfast with our veterans and help us show our appreciation for their service.

PARADE ES**RT: From Clinton Veterans Home to Route 66 Cafe just before breakfast.

🤠 Rodeo weekend is here! Whether you're competing, cheering from the stands, or working behind the scenes, make safety your top priority.

🚑 Sinor EMS Rodeo Safety Tips:

🐂 Stay alert around livestock. Horses and bulls can react unexpectedly—even experienced handlers should stay aware of their surroundings.

👢 Wear the right gear. Closed-toe boots, long pants, gloves, and approved protective equipment (helmets and vests where applicable) can help reduce injury.

☀️ Beat the heat. Oklahoma summer temperatures can be dangerous. Drink plenty of water before you feel thirsty, take breaks in the shade, and watch for signs of heat exhaustion.

🧴 Protect your skin. Apply sunscreen, wear a hat, and use sunglasses to reduce sun exposure during long days outdoors.

👧 Keep children close. Rodeo grounds can be crowded with moving vehicles, trailers, horses, and livestock. Hold young children's hands and establish a meeting place if you get separated.

🚫 Never stand behind livestock. Animals can kick, buck, or back up without warning.

🏃 Stay out of restricted areas. Only authorized participants should enter arenas, chutes, or livestock holding areas.

🩹 Be prepared. Know where first aid stations and EMS crews are located before the event begins.
📞 In an emergency, call 911 immediately. Quick medical care can make all the difference.
