EMS Week Recap!🚑🎉

We had a great evening celebrating our crews with delicious food from Tommy’s Palapa and desserts from Two Sisters Mobile Bakery. Thank you both for helping make the night extra special!

We were also proud to recognize some incredible members of our team. Congratulations to our Paramedic of the Year, Kaleigh Wilson, and our EMT of the Year, Jacob Blackman, along with all of this year’s award recipients. Your dedication, compassion, and hard work make a difference every day, and we’re grateful for all you do.

We also planned to finish out our EMS Olympics with the final matchup, but true to EMS, duty called. With our crews being called out on back to back calls, we made the decision to send both of our finalists to represent SEMS at the Heroes in the Heartland Conference. We can’t wait to cheer on Kaleigh Wilson, Jason Lambeth, Grant Spillman, and James Livingston! We are so proud of them!

After a week of competition, teamwork, and EMS skills challenges, our EMS Olympics finalists are set and ready for the championship round! 🚑🏅

Come out and watch these two teams compete in the final simulated EMS skills competition at our Food Truck Feast! The winning team will represent SEMS at the Heroes in the Heartland SIM Games competition and enjoy the conference this summer in OKC.

As part of our Beat the Heat campaign, we’re sharing important heat safety tips to help keep you and your family safe this summer, including knowing the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
