Kids can pick up a punch card at the library, check out materials, earn punches, and redeem a completed card at La Guacamaya for two free beef tacos.

This month at Lego Club, we let creativity take the lead! 🧱✨

Participants drew word tags and combined them to create their own unique Lego building challenges. Some of this month’s imaginative prompts included:

🌊 Underwater Pirates
🪽 Winged Pets
🌴 Tropical Superheroes
👻 Spooky Farms
🌋 Lava Pirates

Everyone did a great job turning these wild ideas into creative Lego builds. We love seeing what our builders come up with each month!

🦕🔍 Dino Discovery Storywagon! 🔍🦖

Today, Clinton Public Library welcomed the Dino Discovery Storywagon for a prehistoric adventure filled with stories, learning, and hands-on fun!

Children and families had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs, discover amazing facts about these incredible creatures, and participate in engaging activities that sparked curiosity and imagination.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this exciting Summer Reading event. We loved seeing so many young paleontologists eager to learn and explore!

🥕🍰 Baking Club: Homemade Carrot Cake! 🍰🥕

Our Baking Club had a delicious time in May making homemade carrot cake! Participants mixed, baked, and shared their creations while enjoying good conversation and the chance to learn from one another.

A special thank you to Emmanuel Community Church for generously allowing us to use their kitchen and meeting space. Their hospitality helps make programs like this possible for our community.

We appreciate everyone who joined us and look forward to another month of baking, learning, and sharing together!

📚✨ Author Book Launch at Clinton Public Library! ✨📚

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting local author Kimberly Anne Conway for the launch of her newest novel, Making Russian Dolls: A Novel.

Guests had the opportunity to meet Kim, hear about her writing journey, and have copies of her book signed. It was a wonderful celebration of local authors, storytelling, and the power of books to bring people together.

A special thank you to Kristen from Birds of a Feather Bookstore for setting up a pop-up bookstore in the municipal parking lot. Her support made it possible for attendees to purchase copies of Making Russian Dolls on-site and have them personally signed by Kim during the event.

We would also like to thank Kim for generously donating a copy of Making Russian Dolls to the library's collection so that patrons can enjoy her work for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. We love supporting local authors and look forward to hosting more literary events in the future!

🧸📚 Kindergarten Visit: Teddy Roosevelt & Teddy Bears! 🇺🇸

Last week, I had a wonderful time visiting the Kindergarten classes!

We learned about Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt and the story behind how the teddy bear got its name. After reading together, the students got creative and made their own teddy bear ears to wear.

It was a fun way to combine history, stories, and hands-on learning. Thank you to the Kindergarten classes for being such great listeners and enthusiastic participants!

We always enjoy our visits and look forward to the next adventure together! 🐻✨
