A great meeting today with TVA Board Chair-Elect Jeff Hagood and Senior Vice President Dan Pratt! 🤝 We appreciate TVA’s continued partnership and shared commitment to serving the Tennessee Valley.
It was a privilege to be able to highlight the many technological advancements and forward-thinking initiatives underway at Clinton Utilities Board that are strengthening system reliability, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the customer experience. These investments continue to position CUB as a leader among public power utilities.
We look forward to building on our strong partnership with TVA as we continue serving our community and preparing for the energy needs of tomorrow. ⚡

The "My Future Career Fair" at Claxton Elementary School was a fun experience for all. We will be handing out job applications next time.

CUB had a great time with our friends at Grand Oaks Elementary School for their Elementary School Job Fair. We see some future CUB linemen, engineers, accountants and office staff. Thanks for the invite GOES!

A huge thank you to the Tennessee Valley Authority, BVI, and Clinton Utilities Board for their generous $5,000 grant donation to Claxton Elementary School!

This funding will support an innovative, hands-on energy education project that gives students the opportunity to explore energy efficiency, environmental responsibility, and real-world problem solving.

As Claxton Elementary prepares to move into a new school building on a new campus, students will become energy detectives, engineers, and designers—studying energy use in their current school, exploring ways to make their new school more energy efficient, and creating solutions that can make a lasting impact.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade will participate in learning experiences connected to their science standards, from exploring how energy powers everyday life to investigating energy transfer, conservation, recycling, composting, and ways to support the school garden.

Thank you to TVA, BVI, and CUB for investing in Claxton Elementary students and helping make meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities possible. This grant will empower students to think critically, solve problems, and help shape a more energy-conscious and environmentally responsible future for their new school.
