Tonight was a great night listening to Leah Ferretti talking about school choice and her group Mississippi Ready! It was also great to hear from Hinds County Republican Club Chairman Gregory Alston speak about the great things happening there!

We also did a drawing for a Wyatt Waters print of Senator Thad Cochran playing the piano in his Washington D.C. home and Ben Gipson won the drawing!

We can’t wait to see you at the next meeting on November 18th!

We had a great evening of food and fellowship last night!

We got to hear from Will Purdie, the City of Clinton’s new mayor, and he spoke on his vision for growing Clinton as well as the new partnership with MC in the Rising Spring project that will attract travelers along I-20 to stop in Clinton!

We also got to hear from Amile Wilson who is the Chairman for the Mississippi Federation of Young Republicans! Amile spoke on how we can get away from the political violence that is taking place in our country today as well as how to get involved with Young Republicans!

Make sure to mark down on your calendars for our October 21st meeting with Vice Chairwoman of Madison County Republican Women and the Executive Director of Mississippi Ready, Leah Ferretti!

Chairman Kye Webb had the opportunity to go to Jackson State University today for their “Politics on the Plaza!” The overall theme for today’s event was showing unity in the midst of discourse. It was an awesome event to hear from Republicans, Democrats, and Independents that hold Federal, State, and Local elected positions and for them to explain how they serve their communities!

While not forgetting the significance of the 24th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, we also want to take the time to mourn the loss of Charlie Kirk. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erika Kirk and the two little ones he left behind. We are also in prayer for our nation and hoping it to heal from this tragedy.
