🚧✅ Red Onion Industrial Park is Market Ready!
After years of planning, permitting, securing funding, engineering, and construction, the Red Onion Industrial Park is officially market ready!
The park now features three build-ready sites of approximately 5, 10, and 15 acres, each with access to power, water, sewer, natural gas, and broadband. We are excited to begin marketing this site to companies looking to invest and create jobs in Dickenson County.
This project would not have been possible without the support of our funding partners. We are grateful for more than $4 million in investment from the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority, Appalachian Regional Commission, Virginia To***co Region Revitalization Commission, and Virginia Department of Energy1AMLER Program. Their commitment to Southwest Virginia is helping create opportunities for generations to come.
A special thank you also goes to Rinker Design Associates for guiding the design and engineering process and to McFall Excavating for their outstanding work throughout construction. Both were excellent partners from start to finish.
There are still a few final touches to complete, but for all practical purposes, this project is finished.
