Dickenson County Behavioral Health Services is currently receiving applications for the following positions: PART TIME RESIDENTIAL ASSISTANT / DAY PROGRAM AIDE. The person in this position is primarily responsible for providing supervision and teaching basic living skills to the consumers of the Day Support Program and residents of Freedom House Group Home. Successful applicants may be scheduled shifts in the Developmental Disabilities Day Program as well as night/weekend shifts at the Freedom House or Victory House Group Homes. Shift work is required with most shifts occurring nightly, on weekends and holidays. This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
Starting pay for part-time positions is $20/hour for shifts in the group homes and $15/hour for shifts in the Day Program.

Dickenson County Behavioral Health Services is currently receiving applications for the following position: Case Manager - Mental Health/Substance Use Services. DCBHS Case Managers are responsible for linking consumers to services as well as coordination of services provided by the agency as well as outside community partners. Day time crisis services as well as nightly on-call crisis service on a rotating basis may be required.

Minimum requirement would be a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service with a preference for a Masters Degree with at least one year verifiable experience. CSAC Certification would also be a preference. The starting salary range for this position is $37,832 - $43,873, commensurate with experience.

Dickenson County Behavioral Health is currently receiving applications for Three Therapeutic Day Treatment (TDT)/Community-Based Psychiatric Treatment (CPST) Providers to deliver school-based behavioral health services to children and adolescents. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ mental health, emotional well-being, and success within the school environment

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Human Services (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field)
• Willingness to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification as soon as possible
• Experience working with children/adolescents, preferably in behavioral health or substance abuse settings
• Knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders, as well as community resources
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in a human services-related field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or similar)
• Prior experience in case management or care coordination
• Experience working with families involved in multiple systems (schools, courts, child welfare, etc.)

Project SOAR grant was created to eliminate barriers to training and education for anyone who has been affected by Substance Use Disorder, whether by a family member or if you are in recovery yourself. However, Project SOAR classes are open to everyone to help open new doors in your life

We help eliminate barriers by:
✅ Providing all Project SOAR students with weekly fuel cards and meal cards
✅ Providing all tools, supplies, and books needed for the duration of the class
✅ Making sure participants have access to legal aid, referral sources, career counseling, financial education, life skills training, and employment readiness/resume building
✅ Contacting second-chance employers to help interested participants obtain jobs
✅ No-cost tuition for those who qualify
