Our team serves as the vital link between the community and emergency services—answering 911 calls, dispatching law enforcement, fire, and EMS. Dickenson County Emergency Communication Center (DCECC), utilizes 11 dispatchers who serve as the “first” first responders gathering important information and relaying it in a timely matter to the proper police, fire and ems personnel of Dickenson County, Together saving lives, protecting property, and stopping crime.
