As more people hit the roads and trails, the Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone:

👉 Visibility saves lives.

✔️ Wear bright or reflective clothing
✔️ Use front and rear lights—especially at dusk or night
✔️ Always wear a helmet
✔️ Stay alert and predictable

🚓⚡🏁 Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office Supports Ridgeview CTE at Bristol! 🏁⚡🚓

What an incredible day at the races! The Dickenson County Sheriff’s Office was proud to support Ridgeview High School’s CTE program as they competed in the solar-powered go-kart race at Bristol — and what a fun and exciting experience it was!

Even more impressive… 🥈 the team brought home 2nd place in their very first year competing! What an outstanding accomplishment!

Our School Resource Officer, Roley Bowman went the extra mile (literally and figuratively!) by assisting students with electrical components, helping haul the cart to the event, and working alongside them in the pit throughout the race. This is what true community partnership looks like.

We are extremely proud of these students for their hard work, innovation, and teamwork. Their success is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next!
