It's a beautiful day at Clive Aquatic Center!

The leisure pool/kids area heater is down this weekend, but things will warm up with the temps for today and Monday! Both the lazy river and lap pool areas are operating as normal! Open Swim from 11:30am-6:00pm today!

Opening Day! A few updates for you before you head to the facility this weekend!

Leisure Pool Heater Down – The leisure pool (kid’s pool) is very chilly. The last few days of cooler temps have not helped, but parts are on the way and should be fixed next week. We apologize. We know how important that area is for our facility, but please know ahead of time that the water is very chilly in the leisure pool/kid’s area.

May Schedule – New for 2026! Typically, when school goes back in session from Memorial Day, we close down completely. We are excited to be able to offer Water Walking and Lap Swim for both morning and evening session Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week! We know how important those programs are to those users. Please give a thank you to the staff working those early morning and evening availabilities.

Three Facilities – Price of One! Your Clive Season Pass enables you to visit both West Des Moines Aquatic Centers – Holiday and Valley View. New for 2026! You must scan into those facilities using your Clive pass. Typically, you just showed WDM Staff your Clive pass, that is no longer, you must scan in. The same will be done at our Clive facility for WDM users.

Season Pass Card Pickup – Pass pickup now shifts to in-person at Clive Aquatic Center this weekend.

SEASON PASS PICKUP DATES/TIMES:
Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25:
Pickup at Clive Aquatic Center during Open Swim hours (11:30 am-6:00 pm, weather permitting).

Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29:
Clive Aquatic Center closed—pickup at the Clive Parks and Recreation office. Hours are 9:00am-4:30pm.

Saturday, May 30:
Clive Aquatic Center open full hours for the remainder of the season – All pass pickup moved to Clive Aquatic Center front desk

💦🪪Clive Aquatic Center season pass card pickup began today! If you've already purchased your pass and uploaded each member's headshot photo, we have your cards ready for pickup! Our Parks and Recreation offices are located within Clive Public Library. More information has been emailed to each pass holder. If you have not received the email(s), please contact [email protected]. Thanks! Opening Day is this Saturday, May 23!
