We are expecting plenty of rain in the forecast over the next few days. It’s a great time to let all this rain take care of your lawn for you. By holding off on lawn watering, you’re helping conserve water, grow a healthier lawn, and save money on your water bill.

There will be a lane closure in the outside curb lanes of northbound NW 86th St and eastbound Hickman Rd. See image for location. The closure is allowed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work related to Permit FBO26-000015.

Please use caution around workers to keep their work zone safe and protect yourself.

There will be a moving lane closure in the northbound (outside) lane of NW 86th St between Clark St and Alice Ave and the eastbound (outside) lane of Harbach Blvd near Bike World and Plaza 1800 during the week of April 6 - 10, 2026. See red lines for lane closure area. The closure is allowed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for utility work related to Permit FBO26-000028.

Crews will use a moving lane closure for the duration as needed. Please use caution around workers to keep their work zone safe and protect yourself.

Large hail and damaging winds are possible with scattered severe storms across portions of central into eastern Iowa tonight. Community Connect features:

✅ Manage multiple accounts under one login
✅ Receive reminders and notifications
