Try setting aside a specified amount of time each day to engage in a wellness behavior that fits your needs. Even as little as 15-30 minutes of time daily can go a long way in helping you integrate a healthy new behavior into your daily routine. (Thriveworks)

BACK TO SCHOOL MEANS BACK TO BUS SAFETY!

Students across our communities are heading back to the classroom! As school buses return to our roads, drivers need to slow down, stay alert, and knows the rules.

Minnesota has updated the school bus safety law.

You must stop at least 20 feet away from a school bus as soon as the red lights start flashing - not just when the stop arm is out.

This change removes confusion and helps protect students getting on and off the bus.

Please give yourself extra time, watch for children near bus stops and school zones, and never drive distracted.

To read more about the updated law, check out the link in the comments.

Let's work together to make it a safe school year for everyone!

📉 Absences add up quickly—missing just two days each month can lead to academic setbacks. Communicating at the start of the school year why daily attendance matters helps families understand the impact of missed days before absences become an issue. Consider these back-to-school activities that promote positive engagement. These relationship-centered strategies help students feel connected and engaged—conditions that support regular attendance. https://www.attendanceworks.org/resources/toolkits/showing-up-matters-for-real/using-real-to-welcome-families-back-to-school/
