The Eastern Plains Council of Governments (EPCOG) office will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

🎉 From construction to celebration!

Last year, our EPCOG team got a behind-the-scenes look at the new Logan Recreation Complex as construction was underway. This year, we’re excited to celebrate the ribbon cutting and see this incredible project officially open to the community! 🎊

EPCOG was proud to help the Village of Logan secure funding to bring this project to life. Raymond Mondragon, Vincent Soule, and Julie Surina were honored to attend the ribbon cutting and celebrate this exciting milestone alongside the Village of Logan. 🏗️👏

We love seeing projects like this become a reality and create new opportunities for families, youth, and the entire community!

🚧 Building Better Roads. Building Stronger Communities. 🚧

We’re proud to see Curry County’s Road Department and Road Superintendent Walon Jones highlighted for the important work happening across our region! With more than 1,300 miles of roadway to maintain, their work makes a real difference for residents, businesses, and communities throughout Curry County.

We’re also proud to recognize Walon’s leadership as Vice-Chair of the Southeast Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SERTPO), helping bring local and regional transportation needs to the table and strengthen collaboration across Southeast New Mexico.
