NEW RESOURCE: New World screwworm can infest any warm-blooded animal, including pets. Check out this flyer for tips to help keep your pets safe.

Remember: Focus your attention on any wounds that won't heal, not on the identification of flies. A common blow fly can look strikingly similar to a New World screwworm fly. For all New World screwworm information for New Mexico, be sure to visit screwwormnm.org.
