We are also feeling a little bittersweet as we look back on a truly special season for our Varsity Winter Guard. 🌎💙💛

There was something unforgettable about “Bitter Earth” this season.

Our Varsity Winter Guard approached every performance with sincerity, emotion, and maturity, bringing this production to life in a powerful way every time they took the floor. Through every performance, these students brought honesty, strength, and heart to the story they were telling, creating moments that connected deeply with audiences throughout the season.

This season also took the group all the way to Dayton, Ohio, where they competed with 134 Scholastic A guards from all across the country and proudly represented Clovis High School on the national stage — an experience and accomplishment these students will carry with them for years to come.

We are so grateful for everything this group poured into the season and for the way they represented our program every step of the way. Congratulations!

As we head into our final round of guard auditions this afternoon, we wanted to recognize our incredible JV Winter Guard and the amazing season they shared together. 🏙️💙

From the city skyline to the final toss, this group brought so much energy and personality to the floor all season long.

“Lunch Atop A Skyscraper” was filled with fun, character, and moments that made this group truly memorable. “Built this city…” became a fitting theme for a season where these students built confidence, friendships, and a team they could be proud of.

Their hard work earned them a 1st place finish in the Scholastic AAA division at SJVCGPR Championships, but even more special was watching how much they grew together throughout the year.

We are so proud of this incredible group and the season they shared! Well done! 👏🏻

This Saturday, May 9th, the Clovis High Area Color Guards will be sharing a beautiful afternoon of dance and movement with you at their 2026 Dance Recital!

Join us as we celebrate the artistry and talents of students from Clovis High, Clark Intermediate, and Into The Blue. Recital begins at 1:00 PM in the Clovis High School South Gym.
