Best of luck to Clifton-Clyde Alumni Joseph Fahey and James Jarvis as they report to camp tomorrow for the KEMFA All-Star game. These Eagles will be part of the Division I East Squad. Come out and support them Saturday, June 13th at Trojan Field in Beloit KS. Kickoff is at 10:00 am. Go Eagles! 🦅🏈

Congratulations to CCHS Head Track coach, Kieran Wurtz. This week, Coach Wurtz was named the U. S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association-Girls Kansas Coach of the Year.

From USTFCCCA, "One boys coach and one girls coach from 50 states – as well as the District of Columbia – were honored for their successes during the spring of 2026, as selected by a committee of experts from around the nation.
State-by-state winners were selected based on their teams’ performances throughout the 2026 outdoor track & field season. Among the factors taken into consideration were team score and placement at the state championships, margin of victory, performance against rankings if available, individual championships, and how their teams’ performances stacked up to previous years (e.g. first title in school history, consecutive titles, etc.).
Each honoree will receive a trophy from the USTFCCCA recognizing their achievements."

1A STATE CHAMPS!!!!
(Late announcement due to 2 weather delays, but worth it!)
Congratulations to the Clifton-Clyde ladies on winning the state 1A team track and field CHAMPIONSHIP!

This is the first 1A state track and field title for the Clifton-Clyde girls and their 6th track and field title overall (1999, 1995, 1994, 1993, and 1983 all in 2A).
