🌳 Annual Tree Pruning Underway 🌳

Our annual tree pruning has begun at the cemetery and will continue through the fall. This important maintenance helps care for our trees while keeping the grounds safe and well-maintained for our community.

As crews work throughout the grounds, please use caution, keep a safe distance from active work zones, and do not approach crews or equipment while tree trimming is underway.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this seasonal maintenance. 🌿

Summer heat can be tough on flowers. Choose heat-resilient varieties such as sunflowers and use the flower watering stations located near both cemetery entrances to keep vases filled, or you can opt for silk flowers instead.

Remember to check vases for desert critters before placing flowers, and to remove any decorations before Tuesday for grounds maintenance.

Extreme temperatures will continue throughout next week. If you’re planning to visit a loved one or attend a ceremony, check the weather before heading out and plan accordingly.

Bring plenty of water, wear sunscreen and consider a hat or handheld umbrella for additional sun protection.

On Thursday, July 23, the District will be refreshing the decomposed granite (DG) around the median islands and Veterans Memorial. Visitors should expect increased landscaping activity and equipment throughout the grounds. The cemetery will remain open and accessible during this work. We appreciate your patience as we continue maintaining the cemetery as a beautiful and dignified place for our community.

District offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The cemetery will remain open during its normal visiting hours. We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday weekend.

There will be no mowing on Tuesday, June 23, for Father’s Day.

Public Notice:
A kind reminder that District offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. The cemetery will remain open for public access during normal visitation hours.
