According to Rumpke’s holiday schedule, trash service will not run on Monday, September 7, 2026, due to the Labor Day holiday.

As indicated on Rumpke’s website, services will be delayed by one day. Regular pickup schedules will resume the following week.

EMERGENCY TRASH COLLECTION UPDATE 🚨

Beginning Monday, July 20, Rumpke will be providing residential trash collection for the Village of Coal Grove.

Rumpke has been provided a list of residential customers to help ensure a smooth transition. However, as with any service transition, there is a possibility that a stop may be missed.

We ask residents to please be patient during this change. If your trash is missed, please contact the Village Office so we can work with Rumpke to get the issue resolved and make sure you are taken care of.

Please have all trash bagged, placed inside your trash cans, and set at the curb by Sunday evening for Monday pickup.

Rumpke will pickup the entire village in one day resulting in our new trash day being on Mondays.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work through this transition.

Update: Village Administrator just reported repairs are completed and water will be slowly coming back on! A 48 hour boil water advisory will in place for those affected by the outage.

A Construction crew has hit a main line while working out in the county area. Updates for restoration will be posted as they are available.

Following action taken during last night's Village Council meeting, the Village of Coal Grove would like to inform all residents that Prichard Sanitation will no longer provide residential trash collection services for the Village of Coal Grove.

Village officials have already begun working to implement a change in service and are taking every step possible to minimize any inconvenience to our community.

Over the coming days, the Village will share additional information regarding the transition, including a new residential trash service provider, collection schedules, start dates, and any other details residents may need. We encourage everyone to follow this official page or Village website for the most current updates.

We appreciate the patience, understanding, and cooperation of the community during this transition.
