Coalgate Senior Citizens

Coalgate Senior Citizens Coalgate Senior Citizen Center Nutrition Program serves lunch Monday - Friday at 11:30 am. We have to do an assessment to see if your eligible to eat.

As of right now due to budget cuts we have a waiting list of people to be able to eat. Hot meals are served Monday - Friday at 11:30am. Meals are free to Senior Citizens 60 and over. We suggest $2 donations for each meal. Everyone under 60 is $7.00 donation per meal. Home health agencies will stop in on a regular basis and perform free blood pressure, Local performers drop in to sing and play live music. We often have bingo for prizes and host activities enjoyable for seniors.

We got some good news today. SODA is taking over our hot meal program for our center. Homebound meals are going to Mom's meals. We will remain open! There will be kinks to work out of course as this will be new for everyone. SO WE ASK EVERYONE TO PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE WITH US.
