With extreme temperatures, never leave children or pets unattended in a parked vehicle. Vehicle interiors can reach dangerous temperatures within minutes—even with the windows cracked.

☀️ Look before you lock.
🐾 Take pets with you.
👶 Never leave children unattended.
📞 If you see a child or pet in distress inside a vehicle, call 911 immediately.

VENDORS WANTED!
The Coalinga Fire Department is looking for vendors to join us during our Annual Fire Prevention Week Open House!
This year’s theme is “Safe Charging is a Superpower!” and we’ll be teaching families and our community how to safely charge everyday devices through fun, interactive activities and demonstrations.

🚨Big News! 🚨 Coalinga Fire has just earned a class 2 rating from the Insurance Services Office ( ISO)- placing us among the top 5% of fire departments in the country.

New apparatus, better equipment, strong water infrastructure, enhanced prevention and public education. Years of work, one big result. See press release for full details.

Coalinga Fire has resources assigned to the Parsons Fire. Battalion 171 and E171 were on the first alarm assignment and were the first units on scene.

The incident has since been turned over to CAL FIRE/Fresno County Fire due to it being in their jurisdiction. We remain committed to the incident.

The city is being covered by a Fresno County engine until we are released. The fire is approximately 250 acres and 0% contained. Will provide information as we receive it.
