We are sharing on behalf of a customer this beautiful stone, which after cutting, resulted in a whopping 1.70 cut stone! This stone was cut by a regular at our establishment Thomas Hunsinger, who started cutting in 1989, which he did basic cuts for about 4 years. He took a hiatus until 2017, when he started to do it consistently again, and began cutting Benitoite in 2019. A lot of people have been asking for someone who is familiar Benitoite to cut and we know not a lot of jewelers/cutters are familiar and so we wanted to share since he would be a great place to start. The jewelry piece is another stone he cut and set for another customer of ours, and it came out amazing (this is not the same stone). Hope this helps some of you, and we cannot wait to see more pieces!
