Kamas conservation district will reimburse you for soil sampling up to $100 per applicant. Receipts must be turned in to Lloyd Marchant by June 1,2024. Please see the attached soil analysis information sheet for more information and the tests offered.

Kamas Valley Conservation District is still accepting applications for reimbursement for w**d spray. You can purchase w**d spray and get your reimbursement form at the Summit County Public Works through the w**d department. All requests should be submitted by June 1, 2024.

Kamas Valley Conservation District will reimburse you for cover crop seed up to $500 per producer. At least four species must be included in the mix. This is not meant to be used to replant your fields. Reimbursement is at the discretion of the Conservation District Board. Your receipt and bag tag are required for reimbursement. All reimbursement requests must be turned in to Lloyd Marchant or our email [email protected] by November 1, 2024.

There will be a meeting including the Kamas Soil Conservation District President and Vice President, as well as representatives from UDWQ (Utah Division of Water Quality), and UDAF (Utah Department of Agriculture & Food) at the Washington/South Kamas office Building at 375 South 300 East. There is a silver sign above the door and the building is located on the east side of the road.
