Today (Tuesday, June 16) the YSPUC field crew located the second leak on lower John Muir Drive. Tomorrow morning the crew will be coming in early morning to fix this leak.

Caution signs are still up; the road is muddy so please watch your speed.

After we fix this second leak the road will be cleaned up. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we roll into the summer heat there will be more leaks to fix, we will get to them based on our schedule and severity of the situation.

Today (Monday June 15th) the YSPUC field crew fixed a difficult leak to find on lower John Muir Drive. However, there is still another leak to fix on John Muir. Tomorrow morning the crew will be coming in early morning to fix the other leak. Caution signs are still up; the road is muddy so please watch your speed. After we fix the second leak, the road will be cleaned up. Full crew on site looking for source of the leak. Because of the steep incline there, it is impossible to know the exact spot where the leak is occurring. They are in the process of “potholing” to make the decision on where to excavate. Traffic control is now in place. We will update this page as information becomes available. There is a leak on lower John Muir that popped up over this last weekend. The YSPUC field crew attempted to fix it yesterday (Sunday June 14th), but could not find it. The crew is headed out this morning to begin potholing the street. As this excavation continues to locate this leak we advise avoiding travel on Lower John Muir if possible.

Customers will experience low pressure as our crews fix a main break on N. Dome.
Attached is a map that depicts the affected areas:

N. Dome below Well 48 (big white dot top right-hand corner of map) down to Ranger Circle Dr., Stops at Red X and up to Sentinel Dr. & Sentinel Ct.
Crews should be finished by 12:30, 6/12/26.

We have received several calls regarding incorrect PayStar billing. After reviewing the situation, we have confirmed that there is an issue with the new billing that was sent out from PayStar.

YSPUC office have contacted PayStar so we can get this resolved as quickly as possible. We are waiting on them to call me back.

Evening Report of the current water issue:
Tank one is back where it should be and homeowner flushing as needed is appropriate this time.
To receive a flushing credit, please contact our office during normal business hours and staff will create that credit.
If your service is not back to where it was prior to this event, please also notify our office so we can address the issue.
