Last night we provided coverage at the Fusion Community Church for the Tim Tebow Foundations Night To Shine Event. It’s was an amazing night along side our friends at New York State University Police,Schoharie County Sheriff's, and Cobleskill Police Department. This yearly event allows those with special needs the chance to enjoy a night of entertainment and socialization!!

Happy New Year, we as the squad would like to thank all our volunteers for the last year there have been so many laughs and challenges that each member has experienced and overcome, especially the last couple days, With the winter weather and the multiple calls. Our volunteers leaving their families during the holidays and serving our community, we would just like to say Thank you and We are excited to see what this new year brings.

We’re reaching out to address the erroneous rumor that we are full for the 2026-2027 paramedic class; WE ARE NOT FULL.

IN FACT, WE (THE SUNY COBLESKILL PARAMEDIC PROGRAM) HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM IN THE 2026-2027 PARAMEDIC CLASS AND WE ARE ACTIVELY LOOKING AT WAYS TO POTENTIALLY INCREASE OUR STUDENT CAPACITY TO BETTER SERVE THE LARGER POPULATION OF APPLICANTS OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS!!

If you know of anyone who is interested in potentially joining us for our 2026-2027 Paramedic Certificate, please have them email us at [email protected] to start the process. We’ll start interviewing in November, but candidates can reach out now.

Public Statement

We have been made aware of the recent arrest of one of our volunteer members. While we value the time and dedication this volunteer has given to our community, the accusations do not align with the expectations and responsibilities of their role as a first responder. This matter is being handled by law enforcement and we want to assure our community that we take these issues very seriously.

Effective immediately, the individual was suspended from all rescue squad activities pending the outcome of the legal process and court system. The Village of Cobleskill has also been notified. This action is necessary to protect the integrity of our department and maintain public trust.

We will continue to cooperate fully with the appropriate authorities when necessary and provide updates if additional information becomes available. We assure you the appropriate action was taken as soon as a notification was made to us, as we do not condone such behavior.

Our deepest condolences to Kevin's family and the entire LifeNet team during this difficult time. Rest Easy Kevin.

We are devastated to share that Flight Paramedic Kevin Robert passed away last night, August 27th, following a sudden medical emergency. Kevin, alongside a flight nurse and pilot, were caring for a patient aboard LifeNet 7-13, based out of Ticonderoga, NY.

Our crew quickly landed at a nearby hospital while our communications center coordinated emergency resources for Kevin and our patient. Despite the extraordinary efforts of our crew, communications teams, first responders, and the hospital staff, Kevin could not be revived.

Our priority now is the well-being of our teammates and the continued support of Kevin’s family. The Ticonderoga base remains on safety stand-down as we allow our team the time and space they need to grieve.

We ask that you keep Kevin’s family, friends, and teammates in your thoughts, and join us in respecting their privacy as we all navigate this heartbreaking loss. We will forever cherish the memories Kevin leaves with us, and we will carry his memory and legacy with us on every mission.
