Thank you to the Schoharie County Department of Health, Schoharie County Youth Bureau and Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School for inviting us to participate in the 7th Grade Fun Day! We had a great time talking with students about lithium-ion battery safety, what to do if there was a fire, the importance of having a meeting place, and fire extinguishers.

It was a busy and joyful morning at St. Christopher's yesterday as we welcomed members of the Cobleskill Fire Department and Schoharie Fire Department for our first Fire Fighter Appreciation Sunday and celebrated Mother's day by crowning our Lady.

Happy National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week 2026! 💛

This week, we celebrate the voices behind the headsets — the calm in the chaos, the steady hands guiding help to where it’s needed most.

To every public safety telecommunicator, thank you for:
• Answering every call with compassion and professionalism.
• Staying strong in moments of crisis so others can find safety.
• Being the unseen heroes who connect communities to hope and help.

From the first “911, what’s your emergency?” to the last call of your shift — you are the heartbeat of public safety. Your dedication saves lives every single day, and your work matters more than words can express.

We see you. We appreciate you. We honor you.

Always a blast and highlight of the year being able to teach the youth how to remain safe. A big thank you to the gym class we crashed to participate on their obstacle course next year I think we should have a competition teachers vs. Firefighters 🚒 😁.
Thank you to the school staff and administrators for allowing us to come in and take a few mins with us.
