Gobble Gobble, Happy Thanksgiving!
We will be closing at 12pm on Wednesday November 26th and will remain closed on the 27th and 28th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. We will resume normal working hours on Monday December 1st. If any of our residents have an emergency please contact the emergency maintenance line at 478-308-3673.

We are currently accepting applications for 2 and 3 bedroom apartments. The security deposit and monthly rent will be based on the total gross household income. Some income deductions may apply due to household status. Applicants must be able to secure utilities through GA Power and City of Cochran. All units are total electric and include the stove and refrigerator and have washer/dryer hookups. Applications can be picked up at our office located at 172 Limestone Rd, Cochran GA.

Local Student Recognized in National Art Contest Hosted by NAHRO

The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) recently hosted a national art contest for students in grades K-12, challenging them to reflect on the theme, "What Home Means to Me." The contest, which encourages creativity and expression, invited entries from various NAHRO member housing authorities across the nation, with submissions funneled through local chapters.
Our very own Housing Authority of the City of Cochran participated in the contest and proudly submitted the artwork of local 4th grader, Ms. Autumn Autry. Her vibrant piece captured a heartwarming depiction of her and her family outside, joyfully playing together and enjoying one another’s company—truly embodying the essence of "home."
As a testament to her talent and thoughtful representation, Ms. Autry was awarded a participation certificate and a gift card from the Cochran Housing Authority. Her artwork stands as a reminder of the simple joys and connections that make a home meaningful.
