The pool opening is delayed today, Saturday, May 30, due to chilly weather. We plan to open at 12:00 PM once the temperature rises.

For reference, our standing policy is that we may close or delay the facility’s opening when ambient air temperature drops below 70°F.

While we always try our best to open, the current 62–63°F weather is simply too cold for safe and comfortable swimming.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at noon!

Springdale Double Event: This Weekend,

🏊 1. Springdale Club Open House
• Time: All day Saturday May 30.
• Prospective members can spend the day at the pool, tour the facilities, and meet neighbors.
• Learn about summer membership options and exclusive sign-up discounts.
• Note: Normal guest policy fees apply.

🌭 2. Rescheduled Free Hot Dog Social
• Time: Sunday May 31 @12:00 PM until the last hot dog is eaten!
• Come hungry! We are making up for last weekend's rainy Memorial Day.

I am happy to share that the pool will open tomorrow for Memorial Day as scheduled!


A few highlights to share.

1) The Springdale Classic 5k is a hilly, challenging, and fun race that is 3.1 miles in the Springdale Community. The race is held annually on Memorial Day. Walkers are welcome!

Race Date: Monday, May 25
Registration Begins: 7:00 AM
Race Starts: 8:00 AM
Race Path: Original route (Posts in Group to Follow)
8:45 AM: Award Ceremony!

2) Pancake Breakfast at the Pool

Springdale Stars Memorial Day pancake breakfast will be held at the pool

8AM to 10AM

This annual swim team fundraiser will be held during and after Springdale 5k at the pool. It's an easy and tasty way to raise money for the season. $5 pancakes, sausage & a drink.


3) The Pool is open Join us from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM to kick off the summer season.

Due to the chance of inclement weather, we are rescheduling our complimentary hot dog event. We will now host the cookout next weekend instead.

Hot Dogs taste better when its 90 degrees out!

Rain, rain, go away!

While all this rain is helping our drought conditions, it’s unfortunately putting a damper on our pool plans. At this time, it looks like we will not be open on Sunday due to the weather.

Monday is looking more promising, and we hope to resume normal hours then.
