Merry Christmas from our Fire Department family to yours. We are blessed to serve such a loving and supportive community.

This time of year is hard for many. Some are celebrating. Some are mourning. Some are simply burnt out and relieved the time of year has come. Remember your neighbor and love one another. Carry that spirit with you all year.

And if you see your Fire, EMS, Dispatchers or Police out and about remember that they are serving you during the holidays.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported our first annual event with Santa and the Grinch! We had a great time and enjoyed seeing all the kids smile (and a few cry)! Please share your photos with us!

Is there anyone who could help us out with a balloon arch? We will order the kit but would love to have someone who knows what they are doing put it together. It would need to be done early ish on December 13.

🚨Santa is visiting Station 1 in Cockrum and the Grinch is crashing the party!🚨

Come out on December 13 from 2pm to 6pm for some good food, Santa, and the Grinch!

(There is no charge to see Santa or the Grinch but we do ask you to consider a donation to support the department)

Congratulations to Desoto County’s new certified volunteer firefighters. This group completed their state check offs today to conclude over 3 months of training. We are thankful for their willingness to serve!

Last night we conducted training so that our new members are better prepared for their upcoming certification class. We would like to say thank you to Desoto County Emergency Services for providing these classes and to our new members for taking time away from their lives to participate!
