Update (6:11 p.m.): All CBPD units are clear from the scene and all roads are back open. A portion of the sidewalk in front of three businesses on the Northside of Minutemen Cswy. between S. Brevard Ave. and S. Orlando Ave. across from City Hall will remain closed through at least the weekend. Thank you for your patience.

Original Post: Officers are out assisting the Fire Department with a structure fire in the area of Minutemen Cswy. between South Orlando Ave. and South Brevard Ave. This area will remain closed for sometime to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Please stay clear of this area to allow rescue units a safe environment to work. We will update you when we can.

Update: 08:44 a.m. - Brevard EOC asks that if you find suspected Blue Origin anomaly debris, do not call 911. Report to 321-222-4355 or by email at [email protected]. The CBPD wants to remind you that direct contact with debris poses a risk to personal health and welfare.

Original Post: According to the Brevard County Emergency Management Office, tonight, around 9:30 PM an anomaly occurred during a static fire test for Blue Origin. There is no threat to the general public. The CBPD will continue to monitor the incident throughout the night.

North Atlantic has returned to the construction traffic configuration: one southbound lane and two northbound lanes are now open. Please use caution and expect possible delays in the area as construction continues.

๐Ÿšง TRAFFIC ADVISORY ๐Ÿšง (04:06 A.M.)

Due to a single-vehicle crash into a construction site in the area of 5645 N. Atlantic Ave., southbound traffic is temporarily closed and being re-routed to Ocean Beach Blvd.

The roadway will remain affected until FDOT arrives to reconfigure the traffic barriers. Please use caution in the area and expect delays this early morning. There were no workers present at the time of the crash.
