Mrs. Houston plays a vital role in strengthening the connections between families and command and serves as a fountain of knowledge for families in need of support while the cutter is underway. We are forever grateful for your commitment to serving others!

Members of VIGILANT’s wardroom and Chief’s Mess compete in Jacksonville’s Tough Mudder Race. Through ice cold baths and electric shocks, VIGILANT’s crew persevered in a strenuous demonstration of teamwork and community. Oh yeah, we got muddy!

On Thursday we said good bye to our amazing Ombudsman, Mrs. Carla Casey. Mrs. Casey served as VIGILANT’s Ombudsman for the past year and was an outstanding representative of the Command and VIGILANT families. Most notably, during hurricanes Ian and Nicole, Mrs. Casey communicated critical information that ensured the safety and well being of over 100 family members while VIGILANT was underway. Thank you so much for your service!
