On Wednesday we had the pleasure of welcoming AnnMarie Gustke from Agape Women’s Center and Lauren Johnson from Sara’s Roots! They shared the inspiring ways their organizations work both individually and hand-in-hand to support and empower at-risk women in our community. There are so many impactful ways we can support their mission, including simply grabbing a delicious coffee from Root + Gather in Merritt Island! ☕

A special thank you to Dennis Thompson for recommending AnnMarie and Lauren as speakers and introducing them to our group!

Thank you to Lt. Bill Stanley for sharing all the great things you can learn at the Cocoa Beach Citizens Academy!

Ever wondered how our local government and city services actually work? This 14-week program runs on Tuesday evenings starting in January, and applications will be available soon.

Several of our Cocoa Beach have already taken the classes and gained invaluable insights into how our city functions. It’s a truly outstanding program! Keep an eye out for application details.

Rotarians Geoff, Jo, Ellen, and Rotary Exchange Student, Kaisa, gave blood yesterday at Cocoa Beach Community Church. It was Kaisa’s first time donating blood and she was a little nervous, but it was a good experience and she was glad that she participated.

In honor of Dolly Day, books are always appreciated! Help us celebrate the joy of reading with little ones in our community❣️

Today is Give Like Dolly Day! 🩷

Dolly believed that when you are in a position to help, you should help. She gave generously, dreamed big for children and spent her life finding ways to make a difference in the lives of others.

Today, we are carrying that spirit forward.

We invite you to by supporting children in our community by donating children’s books to the Early Learning Coalition of Brevard. Books may be dropped off to The Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce Monday-Friday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm or brought to any Chamber event or program now through the end of September.

Please consider donating a book today or feel free to make a donation directly to the Early Learning Coalition for the children of Brevard County: https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/?country=US...

Thank you for your kind donations!

This morning, the Rotary Club Cocoa Beach members teamed up with the Cocoa Beach Community Church, Citizens Climate Lobby, and Interact for the International Coastal Cleanup.
Together, our incredible volunteers removed 45 pounds of trash from our local coastline!

The strangest find was a used fireworks fuse and launch system!

A huge thank you to Pastor Geoff, Jo, Keep Brevard Beautiful, Inc., and every single who came out to make this event so enjoyable and impactful. Protecting our environment takes a village, and we love seeing our community come together.
