🚨 FRAUD ALERT 🚨

Scammers are getting more convincing every day.

Recently, a victim reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be a law enforcement supervisor. The caller told the victim he needed to pay for required classes and directed him to send money through Zelle and a Bitcoin kiosk.

The victim later discovered it was a scam.

⚠️ Remember:
• Law enforcement agencies do NOT demand payment over the phone.
• Be suspicious of anyone requesting payment through Zelle, Cash App, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or Bitcoin kiosks.
• Never send money to someone you have not independently verified.
• If you're unsure, hang up and contact the agency directly using an official phone number.

If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and verify before you pay.

Help protect your family and friends by sharing this information.

We are partnering with The Real Church in Cocoa, and the Rockledge Police Department for a gun buy back on June 5th at Save-A-Lot Plaza, 1208 Dixon Blvd. We will be there from 9 AM - 1PM or until we run out of gift cards (whichever comes first). We recently sat down with Pastor Jarvis Wash to learn why this effort is important to him and the community, and how the goal is simply to reduce the opportunity for gun violence.

Honor the Fallen.

It was our honor to participate in the annual Memorial Day event at Erdman automotive. It is so important to always remember those that paid the ultimate price in defense of freedom and our way of life. This weekend as we celebrate with our families, friends, and loved ones, let us also take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this time and the day set aside each year to honor our fallen heroes. To the families who lost a son, daughter, sibling, parent, spouse or loved one in Service of our country, we stand with you in remembrance. We are forever grateful and will forever honor our fallen heroes.

Here is a highlight reel of the event featuring our very own Lt. Mark Baaden, retired Colonel, United States Army, delivering moving and heartfelt remarks.

Today’s Chief’s Walk brought us into the University Lane neighborhood — a chance to connect with the people who make this community special. 🏘️💙

These walks are about more than just patrols. They’re about listening, building relationships, and spending time with our residents face-to-face. We appreciated the conversations, the smiles, and the opportunity to hear directly from members of the neighborhood about what matters most to them.

Strong communities are built through connection, trust, and teamwork, and we are grateful for every opportunity to walk alongside the people we serve.

Thank you, University Lane, for welcoming us into your neighborhood today!
