It's the final day of our UW @ LA Back to Basics campaign week and we are excited to share our grand finale and final results! But first...
HfH Supportive Housing's supportive services and affordable housing solutions gives back to the community in many ways – by helping individuals and families attain and maintain a productive life; by providing disadvantaged children with the opportunity to grow and learn in a stable, nourishing environment. HfH offers a variety of housing and supportive services for Veterans experiencing homelessness: Bridge Housing, Low Demand, Service Intensive, Case Management, and Permanent Housing.

Today, Daytona State College visited our Fox Pointe location for the second installment of our monthly on-site presentations! This month, we welcomed staff from the School of Adult Education to connect with residents about opportunities to earn their GED and pursue continuing education.

These monthly presentations are an integral part of making education feel accessible, attainable, and within reach for the clients we serve.

Thank you to Daytona State College for being a true steward of our community. And a special thank you to Jim Gustafson, Career Services Manager at DSC, for being instrumental in facilitating this partnership and helping bring these opportunities directly to our residents. 🎓

A huge thank you to Crystal and Lauren with Petals-People experiencing transition and loss of shelter for providing our Fox Pointe families with school supplies, clothing, and shoes to help them start the new school year strong.

Your generosity and partnership are invaluable to our community, and our Back-to-School Bash tomorrow would not be possible without your support. We are truly grateful for your commitment to helping our families start the school year with confidence and the resources they need to succeed.

What We've Been Up To at Fox Pointe

At Fox Pointe Apartments, HfH's supportive housing community in Holly Hill, the past few months have been marked by growth, connection, and community.

Thanks to the support of our incredible community partners, our residents have had access to a variety of on-site programs and resources, including:

- Career and education workshops with Daytona State College
- Financial literacy presentations with Addition Financial Credit Union
- Hurricane preparedness training with Volusia County Emergency Management
- On-site counseling in partnership with Outreach Community Care Network
- Monthly family movie days and children's activities

At HfH, we believe supportive housing is more than providing an apartment—it's about surrounding residents with the relationships and resources they need to build lasting housing stability. Every workshop, community partnership, and resident event is part of that mission.
