They have lots of awesome items to bid on such as trips to New Orleans, the Great Smoky Mountains, and the Caribbean, plus a basketball signed by the Miami Heat's entire roster, and so much more! For years now, our police officers and firefighters have been doing a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. 110 floors on a stair climber. It represents the 110 floors in each of the Twin Towers.

Now... you can join.

The City will be hosting a special ceremony at 8:30 a.m. inside Creek Fit North (4455 Sol Press Boulevard) on Friday, September 11th. You're invited! There will be a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., the time when the first plane hit the first tower. An officer and a firefighter will then kick-off the stair climb.

We formally introduced our recent new hires during last week's Commission Meeting. Officer Moore (left) is Broward County born and raised. He is an Army veteran. He comes to us with experience as a patrol officer in Fort Myers and Lauderhill. Officer Warren (center) is a Boca Raton native. He graduated from the Miami-Dade Police Academy in April. Officer Logan is from Miami. She graduated from the Broward Police Academy in May.

It'll be 25 years this year.

For years now, our police officers and firefighters have been doing a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. 110 floors on a stair climber. It represents the 110 floors in each of the Twin Towers.

Now... you can join.
