Due to Governor DeSantis's redistricting law, Coconut Creek will be in two congressional districts. The area north of Sample Road will be in FL-22; while the rest of the city will be in FL-20. The new FL-22 stretches from Coconut Creek to the Gulf of Mexico. Go to https://bit.ly/4ugYVF1 to see the new congressional map.

So far, only one Democrat has filed to run in the new district. Her name is Pia Dandiya and the West Broward Democratic Club will be hosting her on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 7:00 pm. Their meeting will be held at Flamingo Park (12855 NW 8th St, Sunrise, FL 33323). If you live north of Sample Road, I encourage you to attend the meeting.
