🇺🇸 In observance of Memorial Day, all Park County Libraries will be closed Saturday, May 23 through Monday, May 25.

We’re open today (Friday), so stop in and stock up on books, movies, and more before the long weekend! We’ll reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, May 26.

It's National Library Week, and the Park County Library System invites the community to celebrate everything the library has to offer.

Libraries are more than books. They are places to learn, create, connect, and explore. Whether visiting for a program, finding a new favorite read, or simply spending time in a welcoming space, there is something for everyone.

✨📚This week also marks an exciting milestone for our community. The grand opening of the new Powell Library will take place on Friday, April 24 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Community members are invited to stop by, explore the new space, and join in the celebration.

The Park County Library in Cody is hiring a Part-Time Library Assistant!

This position is primarily in the Children’s area, working 10–15 hours per week, with required Saturdays. We’re looking for someone who loves working with the public, especially with children, and is energetic, reliable, tech-savvy, and creative.

All applicants must fill out a Park County Library application online and upload a resume by Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 5 p.m.
