Happy Mother's Day to my mother who took over here at Pahaska in 1946. She frequented Pahaska her entire life growing up with a family cabin 5 miles down the Cody Road to Yellowstone. In the 1930's, Peg frequently went night skiing with her father Ernie Shaw on Wednesday nights at Pahaska. Her life was always centered on Pahaska, the Buffalo Bill Museum, and Cody country. she oversaw most of the improvements here at Pahaska over the years. She was asked if she always lived in Cody for her entire life, her reply, "not yet." My mother passed away in Cody in 2006.
