NIAC Community Update — Prevention & Recovery Support for North Idaho
Even though Idaho’s prevention grant will not be renewed this cycle, NIAC has not stepped back from our mission. We remain committed to HIV self‑testing access, recovery support, healthy‑relationship education, practical tools that help adults stay steady and connected and our long-time staff.
We are actively pursuing alternative funding to restore full prevention programming.
In the short term, two 24/7 digital coaches are available to support our community.
1. North Test & Go Digital Coach (HIV Self‑Testing + Sexual Wellness + Recovery Support)
A nonclinical digital coach offering general information about HIV self‑testing, sexual wellness, healthy relationships, and recovery support.
It does not ask for or collect personal health information and can connect you to a real NIAC staff.
What it offers:
• How HIV self‑testing works
• Healthy‑relationship and sexual‑wellness guidance
• Recovery motivation and grounding tools
• Links to trusted resources (PrEPMeIdaho.com, LetsGetChecked)
• Connection to a real Self‑Test Counselor or Recovery Coach

Our Commitment Remains Unchanged
NIAC will continue showing up for North Idaho with prevention tools, recovery support, and health‑literacy resources — even when funding shifts. These digital coaches are available now because our mission does not pause, even when grants do.
