The SAVE America Act, a far-reaching Republican election overhaul that President Trump said should be his congressional allies' top priority, has failed in the Senate.

🚨 BREAKING: A federal appeals court has ruled, in a 2-1 decision, that the Trump-Hegseth transgender military ban is likely unconstitutional, finding that the policy appears to be driven by a “bare desire to harm a politically unpopular group” and is “both arbitrary and based upon animus.”

In a blistering opinion, Judge Wilkins wrote that the administration provided no factual basis for claims that transgender service members lack the honesty, humility, or integrity required for military service, noting that many of the plaintiffs have served honorably for years and earned more than 80 commendations.

The court upheld an injunction protecting current transgender service members from being expelled under the policy, while vacating the injunction as it applies to new applicants seeking to enlist.

This year, Idaho for ALL will hold their Juneteenth Walk in Post Falls following the City Council’s decision to discontinue recognition of Juneteenth and instead elevate Columbus Day as the holiday that “best honors our heritage.”
“We believe Juneteenth is an important part of our shared American story,” said Idaho For All Representative Lauren McCroskey.” It commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a reminder of the long and ongoing work toward liberty, equity, and justice for all people.”

The walk is not intended as a protest. It is an opportunity to honor the meaning of Juneteenth, celebrate the progress that has been made, and reaffirm our shared commitment to building welcoming communities where every neighbor is valued and respected.

Juneteenth matters to all of us — not only as a reflection on our nation’s past, but as a celebration of the ideals of freedom, dignity, and equal opportunity that continue to move our communities forward.

Tax payers deserve to know who benefits from school vouchers. Why won’t the Idaho Tax Commission tell us?

Tax payers deserve to know who benefits from school vouchers. Why won’t the Idaho Tax Commission tell us?

I said then, and I’ll say again now: if the data told a positive story about this voucher program, the Idaho State Tax Commission would be eager to disclose it.

Idaho taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability, especially when $42 million in public funds is being spent on private school voucher tax credits with NO accountability or transparency.

I joined Sen. Melissa Wintrow and Rep. Ilana Rubel in demanding answers from the Idaho State Tax Commission about who is benefiting from this program. We asked straightforward questions:

What are the average income levels of recipients?
Were families already enrolled in private schools?
Are rural communities actually benefiting?

Instead of answers, we were met with silence and distractions.

Taxpayers deserve to know whether these subsidies are helping families who truly need new opportunities or if this is another tax giveaway benefiting Idaho’s wealthiest households, all while Idaho public schools remain last in the nation in per-student funding.

Idahoans deserve honest answers and responsible leadership.
