Join us tomorrow at the Carver Companies Port of Coeymans Marine Terminal for their community day. We'll be displaying our equipment and providing information on how you can help us keep our community safe. Our local Life Net medflight helicopter will be joining us at 11am, weather permitting.

The Coeymans Fire Company mourns the loss of Life Member and Fire Police Captain Wayne Pearson. Wayne served honorably and dutifully even while battling his illness. From traffic control on emergency scenes to constantly raising money for fire police equipment, Wayne was a mainstay in the community. Wayne's service to the community also included extensive involvement with the Ravena Rescue Squad and previous membership with the Ravena Fire Dept.. Wayne could be found selling raffle tickets at the grocery store or directing traffic at the annual local Bicycle race. Wayne's dedication never wavered as he attended drills, fundrasiers and monthly business meetings right through the last several weeks. We offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to Fire Police Captain Pearson's family and we share in the tremendous loss of service to our community.

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve made the decision to move Community Day at the Port of Coeymans to May 30th to help ensure the best possible experience for attendees, vendors, and families.

New Date: Saturday, May 30
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We’re still looking forward to welcoming the community for a great day at the Port!

What to expect:
• Guided tours
• Trucks & heavy equipment on display
• Bounce house, face painting & balloon twisting
• Complimentary food from Yanni’s Too Food Truck
