Students teamed up with local professional Aliyah Sidqe and Visual Art teacher Theresa Nguyen to create “The RITE Steps” mural, a vibrant celebration of the RITE way: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Effort.

Every part of the mural tells a story. The husky mascot represents Respect and the spirit of Sheldon students. Hands planting seeds symbolize Integrity and the importance of building strong foundations for future success. A band student highlights dedication, practice, and the energy that brings school events to life. Teamwork shines through a classic team huddle that reflects friendship, collaboration, and unity. Effort reminds us all that hard work and determination help students reach their goals and graduate strong.

Made possible through PBIS, this mural is more than artwork. It is a colorful reminder of the values, connections, and experiences that make Sheldon such a special place to learn and grow.
