The Cohasset Permanent Firefighters Local 2804 was established on November 20, 1980 and recognized by the Professional Fire Fighters of Massachusetts and International Association of Firefighters. Our Current Membership works continuously to provide the highest quality of service to our community. We

contribute to several organizations in the town of Cohasset to provide community grown and assistance to our beautiful town. This page is to help educate members of the community on our ongoing efforts to help others as well as to remain in contact with the people we serve. It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the line-of-duty death of Boston Firefighter Robert “Bobby” Kilduff Jr., who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the people of Boston on May 23, 2026.

Firefighter Kilduff embodied courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to his brothers and sisters in the fire service and to the community he proudly protected. His loss is immeasurable.

Rest easy Brother, Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Today, on International Firefighters Day, we take a moment to recognize and honor, the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of firefighters around the world. Local 2804 extends our deepest gratitude to all firefighters, past and present, for their unwavering commitment to service and for the resilience they show in the moments when others need the most.
